Stories matter. The story of Casa Colina is the culmination of many life stories woven together by a higher power with aim at a higher purpose. Our story begins long before Casa Colina was even an idea. Chico West got sober over thirty years ago and began his journey of helping men and their families build a life in sobriety.
In his efforts, he crossed paths with a young man named John Campbell. Through John’s own journey in sobriety, and Chico’s relentless support of him and his family, a lifelong bond was built. Many years after John and Chico’s relationship began, they would embark on writing a new chapter with the sole purpose helping other young men and their families experience the same resurrection and rebirth that the Campbell family had experienced.
Together they made Chico’s vision a reality and opened the doors of Casa Colina in August of 2017 on the Campbell’s sprawling 220-acre ranch. The captivating scenery is almost heavenly and has become the perfect backdrop for the opening scene of many new stories being written every day up on the hill. What began as a short story featuring a God-fearing man and a young, struggling addict and his family has blossomed into a collection of stories ranging from the staff to every young man and their families that have stepped foot on the enchanting property. Stories matter. At Casa Colina, we want to help you write yours.
