A Message of Gratitude for Five Beautiful Years

Today, I am proud to announce as the Owner and CEO of Casa Colina, that we have crossed a milestone. On the 13th of February, Casa Colina celebrated 5 years of serving gentlemen and their families.

The story of Casa Colina began when the 220 acre campus was purchased in 2015. It took nearly two years of vigorous work by several individuals to allow Casa Colina to open its doors. Since 2017, our staff has grown and they continue to stay focused on the mission of Casa Colina. We have added many different treatment modalities and services that have enhanced our abilities to help men and their families. We have improved the campus and the facility so that clients have a more comfortable treatment experience.

Casa Colina has achieved countless successes over the past 5 years. The most meaningful accomplishment is that Casa Colina has had the privilege of positively impacting over 400 men’s lives. We are very grateful to our past clients who trusted in us to guide them on the journey of recovery. Their feedback and challenges have pushed us to continuously examine ourselves and the services we offer.

I want to take this occasion to thank each of our current and past staff members for their hard work and dedication to helping our clients battle addiction. Every one of you has played a vital role in the development and achievements of Casa Colina.

Lastly, I want to share something from my own experience in recovery that explains the mission and values of Casa Colina these past 5 years. My sponsor shared this with me in the AA meeting where I received my 1 year chip. This quote comes from page 100 in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous:

“Both you and the new man must walk day by day in the path of spiritual progress. If you persist, remarkable things will happen. When we look back, we realize that the things which came to us when we put ourselves in God’s hands were better than anything we could have planned. Follow the dictates of a Higher Power and you will presently live in a new and wonderful world, no matter what your present circumstances!”

Casa Colina and myself will continue to walk with the new man on the path of spiritual progress. Remarkable things have happened and will continue to happen on the campus of Casa Colina. My higher power has allowed me to say “Welcome home” to every individual that has walked through the door of the facility.

God loves you and so do I,

John Campbell
